Tip on shampoo

One of the most frequently asked questions here is what is the right type of shampoo to use. Well, I realize it's different for everyone, but I just wanted to let everyone know what works for me. I use this stuff called "Avalon Organic Botanicals." You can find it at health food stores. It's natural, 56% organic, and has no detergents like other shampoos have. This is the only shampoo I've found that I can use and have my hair look good even right after shampooing. I use it once a week, and let my hair air dry. When it's dry, there might be a little fuzziness. Once it is dry, I wet my hair with my hands and style it with my hands, and all the fuzziness goes away and doesn't come back. The kind I use is "Mint Thyme revitalizing shampoo." I don't even use conditioner. My hair is soft and healthy and never dry-looking if I use this stuff. I just thought if anyone is having trouble finding a good shampoo that doesn't wreak havoc on your hair everytime you use it, try this stuff.

Does it do a good job of cleaning the scalp?

I tried doing all the "don't shampoo" things, after about four days I couldn't stand how greasy my hair was. I finally just gave up and I use this shampoo I can't remember the name of, it says it "reduces flyaway hair" and such. I use it and the conditioner it comes with every single morning. I use like a tiny amount of the shampoo and about double of the conditioner, I leave the conditioner in for five minutes and I rinse both the shampoo and conditioner out with cold water.
After it dries it's usally nice, shiny, and soft, which is how I like it :)
(Do whatever you want, this is just what works for me)
