Headbands as seen on TV / temple

Hi evereyone. I live in Europe, in Vienna and I have middle-long,curly hair. Im very interested in soccer and thats the reason why I let grow my hair.
Many of those soccer-players have long hair. Most of them have a helpful headband in order to support their hair to stand behind their ears. So i would like to know where in Vienna I can buy those headbands that players like Batistuta, Crespo, Cannavaro and others wear ???
By the way: is it unusual to cut down the hair on the temples when you have long hair o r is that ok ???
