Oh no

Thanks to scratching a certain part of the back of my head too much, I now have a bald spot. This sucks. Is there something that can be done, or am I stuck with it now? It's not a large bald spot, but it's noticable, and very annoying. I can't cover it up with the surrounding hair, either. It just doesn't work. *sigh*
should come back

Unless it male pattern baldness, it'll probably grow back-you'll know within a month I'd say. My brother did that years ago-scatched his itchy scalp till he started goin bald. He was like 10, so it wasn't a male pattern baldness thing-his hair did grow back.
Hope this helps!

My neighbor did the same thing. No need to panic, once the hair is about an inch and a half, it'll blend in seemlessly with the rest of your hair. So your hair might look a little awkward, if it doesn't already(awkward phase), for a couple of months.

Mantra,
Why are you scratching? Is it because of itchy head or just a habit?
The reason I asked is cause I would get an itchy condition maybe once a week or two and want to scratch the living daylights out of my head. Then, some benevolent people on the board suggested Nizoral shampoo. I used it for the prescribed period and never had the itch again. I also only used it for the prescribed period and have never used it since.

Because of an itchy head. Nizoral shampoo, eh? I think I've heard of that... and I think I've even used it once. It worked well, as I recall. I might have to look into getting some. Thanks everyone!
