I've never been told by bosses to cut my hair. Neatness is the answer-people think that hair is neat if it's not all over the place, so I tie it up while I'm at work. Change of hair style may be all that's needed to satisfy employers!
I tie it while it's dry with a black cloth covered Scunci elastic that's 2 inches in diameter with a clear smooth elastic Cosmopolitan that's 1 inch in diameter. While my hair is dry I brush it out and then tie it (not too tight) with the black band near the back of my neck with 3 wraps. Then I tie the clear band halfway down my ponytail with 2 wraps and then push it down the tail near the end. Then I slick back the hair on my head with water (use a spray bottle and keep mushing it down with your hands for a couple minutes till the hairs stop popping up). That's it. I found that if u wet down the ponytail, that it curls up and doesn't look good. It stays put all day and u won't have to worry about a "bad hair day".
Hope this helps!
