hair skin & nails

I just bought a bottle of hair supplement tablets,"country life" brand. Has anyone ever tried anything like this? This particular brand is anywhere from 100 to 2500% daily value of various vitamins. I've always heard zinc & biotin are the most important!
For some unknown reason I just had about 4 inches cut off my hair & i feel like i'm practically bald. It's still 3 or 4 inches past my shoulders, but it's just wishing I could take that cut back. Someone in the mall, where I stopped to get some stuff, said they saw a lot of breakage and all of the sudden I felt like I had to do something major to fix it!
That shit won't happen again, like they always say , you don't appreciate something till' it's gone. I hope the vitamins work.
Thanks for reading & any feedback,
MIKE

I think if there was a lot of breakage then cutting it is the best thing you can do. Why have long hair if it looks like crap?
4 inches is not a lot if you still have hair past your shoulders. How're the ends looking now? Much healthier?
Can't help you out, though. Never tried any supplements for my hair.
I'd rather take vitamins for my overall health than just for my hair.

Excellent point. It slipped my mind that that's the whole reason I chopped quite a bit of my own. Never mind me.
...Why have long hair if it looks like crap?...

I hope it works too, Mike...I'm curious myself. That's terribly unfortunate about the haircut, though. Even when I DO see a guy with less-than-perfect hair, I'd never say so precisely for that reason. A man's long hair is too precious to waste on a poor-worded compliment.
