Why is it...

that when my hair finally dries, alot of the side hair looks curved back? I guess i'm still going though the awkward stage so this may contribute to it. I usually just shampoo and condition my hair every other day and condition every day or sometimes skip depending on dandruff. When I get out of the shower I lightly dry my hair a little bit with a towel and then comb it all back. I then use a blow dryer on low to dry my hair quite a bit, but its still pretty damp. I then just pull the sides down with a comb and let it dry in the air. But when it dries my bangs and side hairs are curved back. Is there any way to get them to fall straight? I have pretty straight hair and im wondering if this is occuring due to me combing it back. You guys have been extremely helpful so far whenever I had a question. Thanks!

the longer a hair...the more it is affected by gravity.
Shorter hair responds more to its own structure & texture...
I have dreamed of inventing a super heavy liquid coating for
hair...
Maybe out of useless industrial grade GOLD...I'm SERIOUS...
It would add an artificial 'weight' to the hair for those really...
awkward 'moments'...

Yeah, it's probably because you comb it all back and then blowdry it that way. Try parting it down the middle instead. First, brush it all back while it's wet, and then part it and brush it straight down to each side. If you stop blowdrying it may help also. Blowdrying always used to ake my hair "lighter," in weight that is. How long is your hair?
