The MULLET!!

something strange i was wondering, it seems like mullets are IN fashon or something, i'm seeing them everywhere
i saw this guy in a store a few days ago with a close buzzcut almost all over with a small spot on the top that was left to grow all the way down his back,
and i'm seeing quite a few people with the "Joe Dirt" look
anyone else notice this?
in my opinion everyone if entitled to have their hair however they want (even a mullet if they chose) but i just thought it's strange how many people have them right now

Hmm, none really up here in Canada, some jokesters do it for a little bit just for fun. Mostly those who had longhair and wanted to do something crazy with it before they cut it, a friend of mine did this. With what he wore, it was pretty funny. Aviator glasses, flannel, dirty jeans, and the mullet, lol.

The mullet is an "easy" style to have.
Easy to grow, easy to maintain, easy to get rid of, easy for others to accept. Except it looks like crap...but easy often is.
Keep in mind that the transition from short hair to long hair often misleads many people and they end up wandering off into mulletland.

you guys crack me up, how elitist can you get? DO you feel that there is one and only one hair style.....all one length dry and not kept? come on grow up get over the need to have everyone tell you what a "true long hair you are" and allow people to live and wear their hair the way they want to. Its called freedom and this board is just as guilty of streotyping groups of people then turning around and complaing about being lumped into long haired rednecks,,, but with comments like this I can see why.

So he doesnt like the style, big deal. He never once said anything about being a "true longhair" or about the character of the person sporting the style. Yikes, since when did we start walking on pins and needles, he's entlitled to think whatever he wants of the style, just as you are.

I'm not sure why the screeners wouldn't let my reply to this post go through but here it is again:
Someone asked a question to which I gave an honest insightful answer that included more than just my personal opinion. That is not being "elitist". You're another person using words without understanding what they mean.
What is cracking me up is how everytime someone doesn't like what myself or others on this board say they call us "elitists" and accuse us of thinking that we are the "only true longhairs". This could not be more incorrect. If you are going to make shi# up then at least come up with something better!
(it's usually hit and run posters that do this).
Maybe you have a mullet and this is why you react this way. There is a mullet board and mullet websites that you should frequent rather than this "longhair" board.
