what level curly would y ou say i am...

ok that was kinda weird way to write that subject but as the subject says.. i have curly hair and cant wait for it to be longer.. but judging from these 2 pictures what sort of length should my hair be before it actually starts weighing it self down? my hair also just sticks up when its dry and when its wet ie just out of the bath wet it just curls all over the place.. excuse the lack of top in 1 of the pics but its kind of hot here.

just trying to get a sort of timescale of when it will be at the length to be tied back really.. my ideal length will be all of the hair at just past shoulder length.. but ugh. guess its back to wearing a cap for the next year or 2 huh

I'd say around 18 months from now you should be able to get it into a decent ponytail. I figure from your pics that your hair will look really good long. Give it around 1 year and you should be getting some good weight to it to keep it layed down. Good Luck, bro!

Some of your hair appears to be at least 4 inches long = 8 months
of growth already...
I would think that with each passing month your hair will way itself
down very nicely indeed.
In fact, your hair looks so silky-shiny-soft-moist that I wonder
wether you will experience much hardship in the way of an 'awkward' phase.
Since you have almost 8 months of growth already...
just add another 10-12 months and you are probably a genuine longHair

  oh and your right.. the top most is around 4, 4 and a half inch's long but the back and sides are around 1 and a half inches long.
