Signing off the board...

Well, guys, I cut my hair short. Not buzzed or anything, but more of a longer on top short layered hair style. My hair was just looking crappy and a lot to put up with. Believe me, later on I will probably regret it, but for now I like the way it looks. It's kind of Brendon Frazier in The Mummy style, so that's cool with me. One of the reasons for cutting was the Christmas drama I am going to be playing a main character in at church. The way my hair was looking didn't fit the part at all and I was kind of self conscience about it. So... it has been great making friends over the past time I have been on this board, and maybe I will try again some time. God bless to all and have a wonderful holiday season! Peace!!!!!

Don't leave! PLEASE??? Just because YOU don't have long hair anymore doesn't mean you can't contribute to the board! You have alot to offer and you've helped countless people, PLEASE don't leave just because you've cut your hair. It's not like you're against long hair or anything!

I would have to agree with these guys. I've been a long hair for about 6 years, but I have still managed to learn more from you and several others here in the past few months than I learned on my own in the first 5 years.
While I understand your reasons for cutting your hair, I hope that you make the decision to stay with us, or at least see fit to occasionally drop in and give us all your trademark encouragement and advice.
Either way, good luck in the play!

I should probably not speak except for myself, but your absence WILL be missed by all of us. True, one does at times do what they think is correct, most probably influenced by todays "false society" in which we live.......part of todays times I suppose. Even if for a Church Christmas Pagent or whatever. My own opinion? A "true" Longhair that has gone for a while without will not be able to stand it!!! They will HAVE to have their hair long again. It is natural to Nature itself! (The cutting is not.) If it were, we would ALL be born with no hair, or hair that would not grow. Don't know if this is a basic instinct of the Human Race, genetic or what. The Human Body is just too perfect...........ALL is there for a reason, and there MUST be a reason for "long Hair." (We already know of the life-saving warmth it provides which without in our "natural state" we would perish from the cold. Nobody that I know of has yet to have been born with a Hat on since the beginning of the Human Species for protection from the elements. Your statement of "Probably regret it" may very well be made known to you before the "Seasons Greetings" period of 2002 is over. Oh well, luckily, it can all be grown back. Good luck and best wishes to you, and many thanks for all of your wonderful contributions in the past.
Justin~
This sounds familiar.

Quitting cutting your hair is like quitting smoking. It gets easier the next time.
Care to post before/after pics?

I'll miss you man. I know we never talked to eachother or got to know eachother or anything but I loved reading your posts and you were the only one here besides me with an undercut. I can understand your reasons for cutting it though (and would actually be interested in seing what it looks like now). I hope you have fun at the christmas drama, and maybe you'll start growing it again after that. Take care, and have a great christmas! :)

I couldn't be any happier with it! :)
Did you start off with an undercut, or did you have full hair and then got it shaved underneath?
For me it was the latter. I grew my hair out full but I was never really happy with it. Then I got the undercut and I'm loving it!

Exactly! My hair has been grown out for several years but it is kinda
wavy curly and frizzy, especially around the edges. So I decided to try
an undercut about 2 years ago and my hair looks and feels 100% better.
Got rid of all the crappy hair (a small amount of long hair went too)
but I love it! I really feel good about my hair now.
But yeah, you may have noticed we are definitely a minority within a
minority. The choosen few! ;) he he

If this is Treyn; we'll miss you, ya sellout. :)
Take care, man.

Wow, this came as a shock. I agree with some of the others that asked if you could stay. One need not have long hair to post here, just that the posts are related to hair, and your posts were always encouraging and positive. I'm sure most of us would agree that you added great dignity to the board and kept many of us with our faces to the wind in times when we would have liked to turn away. As always, I support whatever decision you choose, although there's a part of me that hopes you will have regrets so you will decide to grow again! Haha! Anyway, I wish you and your family happy times over the holiday, and wish you luck in your play. You have my e-mail address, so please stay in touch as you have been.
Your Friend

I'm hoping that you stick around. You provide a lot of sound advice and a positive, encouraging influence for the people on this site. Your hair still is probably just as long or longer than some who post here. (Me included, lol) Anyway, may God bless you and your family.
