Light Gel

Are there any good light gels that aren't too sticky and control light frizz well? Something that doesn't get too hard or crunchy or crumbles out easily. Maybe some sort of depp type brand?
Being that my hair still relatively short, reaching my mouth when pulled down but waving toward the top of my ear when not, i still have trouble controlling it sometimes and i almost daily use a very little bit of light gel on my damp hair but my mom says the gel she usually buys is too expensive for daily use. it's a great gel and it's really been working out, but now i need a cheaper solution...

i used to use a gel called "LA LOOKS" to get through the
awkward stage and it worked and looked GREAT with it,
unfortunity it's impossible to find here so i stoped using it, only use the leval ONE gel though if you can find it because they made 5 diffrent ones and the others were much too harsh
don't really like the feel of gel though because i don't like hair being so stiff, i like it loose but it DID get me through the worst of the awkward stage

I use Paul Mitchells "Slick Works" Like a light weight waxy/gel. I'm in the crappy stage..so I just put a little in, and let it go. Works great.

I use Catwalk spray-gel. It's in a blue pump-style bottle, and it works really well. I like it, since it has enough hold to control my curls, keep them defined, and control the frizz but it doesn't look over gelled (at least once it's fully dry)
