I often squeeze (not too harshly) water out of my hair after showering, to make it dry faster. just wondering, could this damage my hair?

I don't think you should be QUITE that paranoid about damaging your hair. A really hot blow-dryer could damage your hair over time. But just squeezing it wont hurt it at all.

That's what I do. Long hair holds a lot of water and if you ever want it dry (and a dry floor) then you gotta' squeeze (just don't pull too).
