hey
IS it true that forehead height is a sign of baldness????
The reason i ask is because my mums friend commented on it and asked me to show her my forehead when i did she said "yep your gonna be like your dad" - both my dad and my mums dad are bald so there probably is a high chance i'll go bald too: was she right in saying that men with large foreheads go bald and im therefore assuming that poeple with small foreheads dont?
any replies appreciated

No. I've always had a high forehead since I was a kid. No one on my Mom's side of the family is bald and you don't get it from your Dad. Plus I've known a few guys who have low foreheads whose hair is thinning pretty bad.

can we please eliminate the myth about hair genes coming from the mother's side? There is absolutely no truth to this. One's genetic predisposition towards baldness or the lack thereof can come from either parent or a mixture of both.

Could you provide a link to support your claim? Without proof it's no better than a myth either.

Amongst those that have done research into this, it is considered common knowledge.
Here's one link out of a plethora of resources establishing this:
Not exactly true!

It's not a myth, according to what I learned in anatomy it CAN be inherited from either side, but it's MORE prone to come from the mother's side.
