Hair is Phallic

Okay.....if this board is not about sexual orientation, then let's end all the:
"my girlfriend doesn't like my hair long"
"why can't I get a date with a PRETTY girl, as apposed to an ugly one"
"I am not gay, but everyone thinks I am because I have long hair"
"I like it when the girls ask to touch my hair out in public"
"I want to grow my hair long really fast so this girl will think I am hot"
ore better yet:
"My school (or job) is making me cut my hair because it is socially unnaceptable to them" which, in turn, is because the establishment thinks it is gay, or unhygenic, or feminine. All of which is not true and we know it.
Hair is a phallic part of the body and is celebrated by almost everyone in their sexuality and identity. Hair is sexy and social.
Realistically, you can not illiminate sexuality from conversations about hair unless you restrict the branch of chat to merely hair care.
The root of the conflict is that some straight men are threatened and do not want to aknowledge gay people at all. They find it distasteful. There is WAY more references to heterosexuality than homosexuality on this board. Unless the web master openly excludes gay people from his board, I doubt you will illiminate the occasional long haired gay references.
I am willing to tolerate those people who post that are not intolerant, but you cannot make us go away. If a long haired gay man mentions hair in reference to his lifestyle, why can't he post here? Straight men are.
We should be thankful the ones who are not tolerant DO go away. The ignorant who stay only make themselves ( and perhaps other long haired straight men ) look foolish.

I've said this before, but it's worth saying again! If long hair on men is effeminate, so is being clean shaven! Nature intended men to have beards. I am not trying to say all men should have beards, far from it! - I'm just trying to illustrate a point! I'm clean shaven myself, may I add. Also loads of men wear ear-rings, a custom that has crossed over from the female camp. The men's long hair situation today echoes the 'women wearing trousers to work' question of two decades ago.
In UK, at least, some see long hair on men as being disrespectful, slovenly and rebellious - a left over from the hippie era.
