ugly neck hairs

I've got a problem here... I can finally tie my hair back (except bangs) but there's alot of hair around the neck area (dark hair, and to top it off i'm a pretty hairy person so it's quite a bit) I've been shaving the sides around the back (not an undercut) for a while now since those aren't that difficult.. but I never noticed the back... and that would be a pain to shave. I have to shave the area often too as it grows REALLY fast...so what can I do? I guess I could get a small undercut which I have been thinking about anyway lately... but the maintenance would be pretty bad on my wallet... then there is laser hair removal... or shaving every other day. Any thing else I can do?

Nothing fancy, just have someone (hairdresser or friend) shave the back of your neck with electric clippers (just the short, neck-clinging hairs that look messy when you tie it back). This makes a huge difference in looking neat. You will need to do this every 2-3 months but hopefully you will be trying to keep your hair looking neat already with occasional slight trims.
It's nothing drastic like an undercut.

Actually, I see a fair number of women who could stand to do this also.

hmmmmm...just one more good reason for an undercut. Small one that is
And you wouldn't need to do it as often as every other day unless
you've discovered the secret of super fast hair growing.

buy a pair of electric clippers, it's not hard to do yourself.
I know how that is

I'm around where you are, even the ponytail part. Yeah, the hairs on the neck aren't the most fun things to have. Luckily the parts I can't easily shave off are taken care of by my girlfriend. She's nice enough to help me out there because she's my encourage ment. If you don't want to go to a hairdresser to get it shaved, find a good buddy that wouldn't mind helping you out. It's not that big of a deal. Good luck with growing.
cut em with clippers-no undercut needed

I've been using clippers and 2 mirrors to cut the hair on my neck every couple weeks (the rest of my hair is tied into a tight ponytail and then clipped on top of my head with a plastic spring clip) for over a year now. First, I went to a hair cut place and told em to only cut my neck hairs and nothing else (they did it for free). Then all I've been doing is keeping all the neck hairs short with clippers (be careful not to get to close to the hairline with the clippers.
Hope this helps!
