Most of us know that using gel for the crappy stage won't stunt the growth, but I had a question stemming off from that. When you use gel, you need to shampoo it out, right? If shampooing your hair every day isn't good cause it removes all the natural oils, then wouldn't using gel still stunt your growth?
I don't really use the hard gel..just the slick works from paul mitchell.
NO

I use a bit of gel everyday to sort of 'moisten' the hair a bit
and to control the flyaways.
Gel can be rinsed out every day as needed. If you are worried about
build up, you can do a very light daily shampooing:
Just rub a bit of the shampoo between your hands and lightly stroke
them over your wet hair.
You do not have to rub or anything...just rinse.
This is a "between shampoos" shampooing...
(aaaah, isn't the English language wonderful)
