i actually was looking this up for my own information, but i thought some of you might like to know.

if you have ever seen the fishtail braid and would like to know how to do it, and don't know anyone who knows how, i found an explanation at http://www.hairboutique.com/askkaren/askkaren-06-1998.htm
go down to june 20 of 1998 and it explains.

there might actually be a better explanations somewhere, but i thought i'd let you all know about this one. it looks difficult, but this braid can be very neat looking, and there are very many variations that can be done.

as for me, i was thinking of a small one in the middle that goes straight back to the end. and yes, i admit i was inspired by legolas from lord of the rings.
