Trying to grow my hair out

I'm trying to grow my hair out to look similar to Ringo Starr's hair on the Beatles Abbey Road Cover. My hair is has been growing since i shaved it in the beginning of August 2002. Any ideas on how much longer its going to take? Any idea's for maintinance cuts? I've already earned the nickname "Foreman" from That 70s Show. Thanks.
