Work and Hair

Hey guys! It's been a while since I last posted and I thought I'd let you all know that my hair is coming along and I dig it more and more each month. I can almost just ALMOST put my bangs behind my ears, just so you can get an idea of how long my hair is right now.
I work at a restaurant and so of course I deal with hair. My employer has told me that I have to start wearing my hair in a ponytail. It looks very weird. I have to slick everything back with gel and my bangs are really annoying, because I can't do anything with them. If the gel begins to wear off, then they go flopping about.
The ponytail thing looks like something out of the 17th century. Two questions: first, since I have to wear my hair in a ponytail now, what can I do to make this required look look the best possible? And secondly, how long until it won't actually look quite so strange?
Thanks.

TWO hair pins...one on each side.
Comb your hair as you would to make a tail...
Next, find the lowest level (the part that usually falls into your face)...
Now grab about 1/4 inch and slid a pin over it...then push
that pin FAR into your hair so that it disappears. (You might have to
practice a bit)...
THE RESULT: Your bangs will "follow the leader" of that lowest strand and stay
in place.
BTW: Even when you CAN get that hair to finally stay behind your ears...
you will probably still need those pins..
MAKE SURE they are surely in place or it could be embarrassing!
Good Luck!
be happy you get to do this
