New to forum with pictures

Hey gang, my name's Brian and I've been a long-time lurker of this website and forum (probably not too long after it was created) and have just now come out of the woodwork to post. I'm a 30 year old man living in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Yes, I'm a long-hair and have been for quite some time. I'm currently growing my hair out again and I haven't had it cut since August of 2001. In May of 2001, I had all of my hair cut off to a short-haired, clean-cut guy length and donated several large 16"-long strands to the Locks of Love program. The first time I started growing my hair out was when I was 20 (mid 1993) and by the time I had just turned 24 (Dec '96) I had this:

I cut it all off shortly thereafter. I kept it short until about late '98 when I began re-growing it out again:

In late 2000, it was past my shoulders (I still had the same job; that's me at my white-collar job and they didn't mind believe it or not):

My hair is nearly that length but I don't have a new, good picture of it. I plan on finally letting it grow all the way down to my waistline.

If any of you are in the DFW area, I'm looking for a long-hair specialist that I can find to take care of my hair. Any comments and/or criticisms are welcome!

cool i'm in DFW (Irving specifically). dunno about a long-hair specialist...i just cut it myself.

  Cool. I'm in Grand Prairie on the south side of town. The girl I used to go to has mysteriously disappeared (atleast from her job). She used to cut Pakistani women's hair and was accustomed to doing mainly longer length hair instead of short. She was *fabulous*. I just wished I knew where she went. I feel a bit "off" about swapping to a new stylist, know what I mean?

  Wow, thank you Resonance. It needs to be cut and evened up a bit in the back but otherwise it's on its way to where I want it. Too bad it takes so dang long. :|
