It's when the top half of your head has "normal" hair and the bottom half is buzzed. It's a style that became very trendy during the 1st half of the nineties. I'm almost ashamed to admit it but I used to have an undercut (so kill me), although not as high up as some I've seen around. Mine was a little over an inch wide. An undercut looks especially ridiculous when wearing a ponytail after growing the top half for only a couple of months - it'll sit high up, almost on top of your skull. Can you spell D-O-R-K? Now I have to admit, that funny little baby donkey tail might come in handy; when you're drowning they can easily pull you out of the water. Should you get tired of it (and you will) then it's next to impossible to grow it out without looking completely ridiculous. You'll look like someone with a corporate haircut wearing part of a mop on his head. To me an undercut doesn't feel natural; if you want long hair then let it all grow long. I did it back then because I thought it'd be easier to grow head of long hair that way. I wanted to bypass the awkward phase, stupid me another burning question In Reply to: Another question posted by hBK on March 05, 2003 at 21:52:13: Petros

So if an undercut is the close cutting and/or shaving of the hair at the back of the head while the rest of the hair remains long, can we get a ruling from the judges that a mullet could also be termed an overcut?? LOL
