Mousse + Gel.
whats the difference? is there a difference?? i decided to waste some money and bought aload of hair products i have no idea bout like gel spray and mousse for example. but i have no idea how mousse is ment to work or what its for if ther eis already gel out ???

They are two very different things. Gel gives you a wet stiff/spiky look. Mousse ads volume and a slight hold. In simpler terms, Mousse is for before drying, Gel is for after.

I've always heard that you put gel in your hair while it's still wet, and mouse in when it's dry.

Well, according to some instructions I read both can be applied before or after the hair is dry.

either one can be applied to either wet or dry hair. After drying on the hair, gel will add weight to your hair (no puffiness), provide a firm hold and look like you obviously have a product in your hair; mousse will add volume/body to your hair, provide a softer hold and be more invisible in/on your hair. Experiment with varying amounts of either one at a time until you achieve a desired effect.

well thats the thing you see.. i dont know what effect i want. i dont think my hair looks good any way at the moment regardless of what i do with it
