Anyone see Maury today?

The entire show was dedicated to cutting long hair on guys, I mean if someone wants a makeover that's fine but this guy is constantly doing this and it seems almost forced on some people. What do you think?

Today's show was a repeat of a show that originally aired several months ago. It does seem as though some of the guys might be somewhat coerced into it, but I suspect that if they really didn't want to do it, they wouldn't.
I look at it this way, these guys all have really long hair, they've grown their hair long and (I assume) have enjoyed accomplishing what they started many years ago . . to grow their hair long. They've experienced the thrill of having long hair (they all say how much they enjoy having long hair), and now they want to try having short hair for a change. I think what's important is that every guy should have the opportunity to at least experience having long hair at some point in his life. If he later decides to go short, so be it. On another Maury "Haircut" show last year, some guy had his waist-length braid cut off. A follow-up interview at his home several moths later found him growing his hair long again.
What I would like to see is a show about guys with long hair who are professional men, such as doctors, attorneys, or businessmen. I think it might have a positive impact on a lot of guys who would love to grow their hair long, but are afraid to do so because of the negative stigma often attached to guys with long hair. Let's see you do a show like that, Maury!

I've never seen the show, but I like the sentiment here - I hope it happens one day.

Any "Make-over" segment starts with cutting hair. You could be completely bald and they'd find some hair somewhere to cut.
Maury goes for those with the longest hair though. I've stopped watching all talk shows because of "make-overs." I started getting a sore throat from screaming at the T.V. "DON'T DO IT!!! NNNOOOOO! STOP!!!"
I will admit that one, MAYBE two, look good with the shorter hair...but most look like they regret it, and it just doesn't look right. Then they are told "you just need to get used to it. You'll love it (eventually)."
I have since decided that Maury is satan.
*notice how much he also likes the little girls who dress sexy?*

that's amoung one of the reasons i never watch those shows
(aside from the overall stupidity of them)
it seems they pretty much exploit people in any of them, regardless of the topic,
it's also the reason i NEVER watch those dumb "make-over" shows, the first thing they always do is chop somebodys ponytail off, and it's sad the audiance usually claps when this is happening, but then again those are probabaly the same type of people who would applaud at a hanging LOL
i only wish they could do a show that has some longhaired people shown in a better light,
or even the OPOSITE of one of their "make-overs", by filming someone with short hair, then letting them grow it out and have them come out and air the footage from before and show their progress and how much better they look with it long

Me thinks Maury wears a toupee and has envy.
