To all awkward stagers... and the rest

Well, it seems like it was yesterday when I decided to grow my hair out, May 23rd 2001 was my last complete haircut, and browsing around for info, I found this board. I was a complete beginner and I had no idea of what it was to have hair 1 inch long. During all my life I had monthly haircuts and I decided to stop.

Now, looking back, and thinking about my recent hair days, I can tell you that waiting is worth the pain, that skipping trims is a blessing (unless you have fried or split ends). I was stupid enough to even out the back shortly after my 1 year mark. I did it for an interview of a job that was bad and I didn't care much for. I almost die when I saw 7 inch hair chunks fall to the floor. I am grateful that I didn't let them touch anything else.

Today, I'm celebrating 22 months and the results are amazing. I love my hair and I don't know where I'm going to stop at. Please listen to most of the advice here. Most of us are here to get help, and support. When we have little, or lots of expirience (like Rokker) we reply with what we think is best. Time cures everything, even the seemingly endless awkward stage. Peace!

BTW, don't forget about the profiles page, I will soon update my picture. I'm sorry for the unposted profiles, they got lost. Feel free to resubmit or mail me for picture updates.
