Is this guy's hair the new "Cobain" style that everyone wants to model themselves after now? Seem to be that way.. anywho..
: 1. How long does it have to be to do it liket hat?
I'd say about 8 or 9 months depending on your hair type. His hair isn't straight and seems to have a wave to it. Definitely no more than a year max.
: 2. What products do i use?
I don't know what he uses but I can tell you what you should use, in my opinion. Aussie products are much lauded by longhaired guys (including me) ,thus, I would recommened Aussie Moist Shampoo and Conditioner. If you want to buy the leave-in, its great too. Aussie Slip is also good for a de-tangler..

Not sure what you mean here.. Possibly about growing longhair? Well basically hair grows 6 inches a year give or take X inches depending on your age, hair type.. blah blah. Since 12 inches comes to about your shoulders, it's safe to say two years of growing will suffice for shoulder length hair. I doubt you want to grow your hair this long if you want his style hair though.
I actually don't recommend modeling your hair after someone elses'. I mean yeah, Cobain had a really cool (looking, it was pretty damaged actually) head of hair but I want my longhair, not his. Just be yourself mate. And give it time!
Cheers.

His hair is basically an awkward stage hair cut. The prevfious poster has basically covered everything.
I would just like to reemphasize what he said about not modeling hair after someone elses. Sometimes you just don't have the hair type for a certain look. You could do everything the same as this guy ans still get a different look. I'm trying to say that you should keep an open mind. Don't get fixated with one look. It will turn out well even if it doesn't look how you planned.
Cheers

Unless you are genetically his near equal you can forget about having your hair EXACTLY (that's the word you used) like him. What I'm trying to say here is that unless you have the exact same hairtype as he does there's little chance of you having hair like that. Besides, why would you? It's not as if he has the most awesome hair out there. In fact, there are tons of guys on this board who kick his butt (hairwise). There's nothing wrong with being inspired by someone but to actually emulate someone, well, I don't think it's really healthy.

I thought nothing of him when the band first came out, but their latest videos...UGH!!!
I have become COMPLETELY obsessed with him. I have 3 full tapes of ALL their music videos, interviews, anything to do with them.
I actually don't think he does much with his hair. That's just the way it is. He probably conditions, possibly some leave-in conditioner.
HE'S SO HOOOOTTTT!
This sounds very immature coming from a 36 year old woman, but...that's me! LOL
