Baby oil question
Posted by HappyPuppy on March 29, 2003 at 20:55:51: Previous Next
At work today I saw this guy with an awesome shoulder-length, curly-haired ponytail. (I reported on our initial encounter a while back.) I asked if he used anything in his hair, like gel or anything, and he said he used baby oil. I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this. I'm basically wondering 2 things.
1. Is baby oil damaging to hair?
2. Does it wash out easily? (Without shampoo?)
Thanks.
Love,
HappyPuppy

I myself bought it for my hair six months ago thinking it would be great for my hair. I was told by a friend with long hair to NOT DO IT! Its damaging to hair, baby oil isn't good for hair!! Darnit though, i forget the reasons why, but i didn't even touch the stuff, so i know it was a good reason. Stick to oils such as coconut or olive. Stay away from baby!!!!
yeah..

I used to use baby oil, Back in my greaser days. it was a really cool look, my hair clumped togeather in small strands, and made my hair pretty much water proof.. And that made it hard to wash out.. Answere your question?
