Anthony Kiedis and some questions on LONG HAIR!

I have been growing my hair since 1996 when it was shaved, it is now way past my shoulders, about the length of Lorenzo Lamas' in RENEGADE, I'd just like to say the Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers Rocks, he's had his hair long since about 1985 and he still hasnt cut it, even considering all the changes in fashion.. I think this is an admirable trait. Also, Is it true that most chicks wont go out with you just cos you are a longhair? I've read books that say most women are attracted to a mans personality over looks. mmmmm Also, is long hair coming back into fashion? it went out in about '94 after kurt cobain shot himself,.... He was the spokesperson for my generation apparently.. Isnt it about time long hair came back in... anyone out there have a clue??? Anyway, Long Hair Rocks and I am proud to be a longhair!!!!
Keep it growing dudes!
RHCP rock.. and Anthony better not cut his hair

Well, they certainly won't go out with you if you refer to them as "chicks". WOMEN generally frown on terms like that.

Uh, this is actually a GOOD thing. In "lamens" terms, the books are saying that most women, unlike most men, are more concerned with what kind of person you are rather than what you look like. It's that "beauty on the inside" thing, ya know.
:Also, is long hair coming back into fashion?
It never died out. It's just been simmering for a while.
:it went out in about '94 after kurt cobain shot himself,....
Again, it never went out.
:He was the spokesperson for my generation apparently..
What a shame we couldn't understand any of his lyrics. Some "spokesperson" (extreme sarcasm).

Uh, party on.

This "chick" loves men -- er, I mean BOYS -- with long hair. In fact, my general rule is that if you want to go out with me your hair should be longer than mine. (mine is slightly longer than my shoulders) Long hair (and other desirable physical traits) gets my attention; personality keeps it. Let the "women" have the homely, sweet guys! I'll take the pretty boys!

Long hair is the exception. That's part of the reason *why* it's so desirable. ANY dork can have short hair. The ones who take the time to grow their hair long, which to me is a badge of both rebellion/individuality and femininity (therefore beards and other facial hair NEGATE the effect), are the ones that get my attention.

Longhaired men have always gotten *this* woman's attention, believe me! In my not-too-huge circle of close friends there's at least 6-7 women who prefer longhaired men to those with short coiffs. I simply love to see long coils of shiny hair cascading down a man's back. It makes him look sexy in a very basic, primitive way.
I saw a concert with Deep Purple a couple of days ago, but it was the opening act Egodog that got my attention - not for their music but because the singer had very long, beautiful hair. Walking out after the concert, I overheard a group of women going on about how that singer was simply irresistably sexy with all that hair of his. I couldn't agree more!
Trust me when I say that there are *lots* of women out there who hope to see long hair become fasionable for men again.
