In the first 4 months of growing I heard someone on my school bus say "hehe that guy looks like a knight of the 18th relm" - which makes no real sense, but i found it quite funny and true.

Yes, I know what you mean, I've seen Interview with the Vampire several times and I am always suprised by how beatiful hair Brad Pitt and Antonio Banderas. And they look respectable wearing nice clothes and live in higher society. I think the key to achieve such a look is just to take really good care of your hair and grow it out. I'm sure they had tons of stylists to help them with their hair all the time during the shot of the movie, but it should not be impossible to achieve something similar.

10 years ago, a man with long hair was either an idiot, shelterless, or a "fag"
30 years ago it was absolutely normal
40 years ago one was called "a hippie"
160 years ago girls/ladies dreamed of you if you had a shoulder lenght pony tail (most true in bigger US American cities)
700 years ago, if you had long blonde hair, you most certainly were the prince or king of some european country
Nowadays, long hair gets back it's popularity (it's what I notice here in Europe)

Hahaha. So, what, I'm a Polish Prince? More of a pauper, for now, at least until my evil grandfather dies.
