My Mans bushy hair...

My guy has beautiful hair but he likes low mantaince and difference. It's gettin dead and we're both looking for an alternative to our plight. We love the long locks but what else is there to do?
A new cut? we both have egg to oval faces and, let's face it, need to cover the big cheeks while still having the frame of locks around us.
Need some ideas other than bangs!!
