question for the experts :)

about the stuff in the link. sounds interesting, anyone ever used this? I've got slightly wavey hair and am wanting to get the bangs straight, but scared to use a straightening iron (don't wanna fry it!). I've tried chemical straighteners (several years ago) but I don't think my hair was wavey enough for it to make a noticeable difference (it was still just "slightly wavey"). thoughts?

I use a straightener everyday bro, and my hair is not fried! My hair is pretty healthy actually. Just as long as if you're doing it to wash it regularly with good conditioner/shampoo. I also take a multi vitamin that probably helps. As long as you don't mind split ends (i dont) than you should have no worries.

If you're the straightener method, I'd sugest you only wash every few days. That is, if you aren't going to the gym or doing some physical activity DAILY that makes you build up a big sweat.

I too use a straightner almost everyday. I haven't noticed any major problems with my hair from using it. My wife is a salon professional and showed me how to use it properly. The model straightener I use is BabyLiss Pro.
