hairproducts for hairgrowth ?

I come from Sweden and I am soon 40 years old.
Iīm trying to grow long hair after having short hair for the last 15 years due to losing hair at the top of my hair.
I have been reading this hyperboard on and of and thing it is a very good source to get information about different aspect of questions about long hair.
I started to lose hair on my head when I was 25 and have felt bad about it since then.
Itīs not so bad that I am bald but this hairproblem make it harder to
make my now longer hair look good on the upper side of the head.
I have tested Regaine but it didnīt help me.
Other products i have heard about is Velform Hair growth but since it is a TV-shop product am I a bit sceptical to try it .
Arcon-Tissane is also another product I have heard about but donīt
know If I shall give it a try.
I have been away on a consulting with a clinice who does hairtransplantations but that is the last alternative I want to try
and I am always looking for some alterantive product/method to try
instead of doing this operation.
I wonder if some of you
on the hyperboard have the same problem (had the same problem) and have any advise to give me if you know some products / hairmethod that you have tried and have given results (make new hair come back / accelerate the hair I got ).
