Getting braided for fun

I'm headed up to Mt.Mingus, Arizona (above Jerome) for a 12 Step retreat over Memorial Day weekend.
My hair is down to my tail end. I haven't had it braided in a long time. I've decided to write "Braid Me" on my name badge. Ladies usually like to braid a guys long hair. I'm hoping I'll get some offers. Maybe even a chance to get a French Braid and wear it in a safe supportive environment for a while.
This is gonna be fun!

Hope you enjoy your 12 Step retreat - I go to one in Whitby, England every February. You're lucky - the retreats here are all single-sex so we don't wind up having to do a bunch of Step Tens with our wives when we get back !! (Damn those defects of character...)
Hope you get your hair braided. Any chance of posting a pic ? - your hair sounds great.

Back, great time. We do a coed retreat but sleep in seperate lodges and do men's focus meetings and women's focus meetings. Works out.
I did get a French braid the first day and wore it for two days before taking it down to be free/wild for the dance.
Got to play a drunk in an impromptu skit for the talent show, poured some "pee" down my leg to add to the effect. Cracked folks up.
Have a couple pics of the Navajo Bun on my girlfriends film waiting to finish the roll and develop. No pics of the French braid though...no one - not even the guys - gave me any static about it.
