Yes, many a girl cuts their hair in the front, and I know guys have done the same. Common. But, when the bangs are long enough, when you comb your hair (and this is under the asumption that you have a middle-part) this front will be swept back and eventually settle (and stay) nicely behind your ears, the longer it gets the easier. If at present yours isn't quite that far you could try using something to hold it in place just in that one area. Even a bobbie-pin (the colour of your hair) can be slipped in in such a way as to hold the hair in place, and yet not even be seen. I would almost think it better to let ALL continue to grow. Sure, if you cut the front of your bangs the problem "seems" to be solved.........but then hair just in back of it will eventually grow longer and you may suddenly find yourself with a 2nd set of bangs to cut. And perhaps later on a 3rd layer? Good luck!

If you put some non-alchol containing gel in your hair when it its wet, comb it back and then let it dry without disturbing it, it will stay out of your face. I find that Dep level 8 is a good gel for curly, poofy hair.
