To gel or not to gel...

I've been reading a bit on here about gels and trying to keep the wet look. I used to try and achieve the all day wet look (nearly impossible I might add) but for a while now I have been happier with fuller dry hair even though I am still knee deep in the awkward stage. I find that if I shampoo and condition my hair, rinse out as much excess water as possible, take a wide tooth comb (I know this is bad when your hair is wet, but a I am very gentle) and comb my hair all down straight then let it dry that way, my hair behaves very well dry for being as thick as it is. Looks best this way I believe, but that's my own personal opinion. But all in all, no matter how it looks, I keep reminding myself that right now is not my hair time. A good year and a half from now will really be my hair time and that is what I am looking forward to. The rest is just time in the oven, baby! Peace!

That's exactly the stage i'm at now Treyn, to gel or not Mmmm... Iv'e just bought a new motorbike and the choice to gel has gone out of the window .. :( BUT, i find that after a i've worn my helmet for a while it actualy dampens down my frizzy hair some what, so it forces me to wear my hair natural.. which can be scary as you probably know having very thick hair as i do.
Hang in there dude, i keep telling myself it can only get better from here :¬))

If you put enough Melting gel & Spray gel...
you can get it as hard & shiny as glass but...
a little will control and yet allow for a soft look and feel.
