Saving Locks?!

After my last much-regreted haircut, which was in last July, the hairdresser let me keep a few locks of the cut off hair. The locks are about 7inches long. A year later I still have those locks in a plastic bag. Every so often I cannot help but take them out, hold them to the tips of my current hair, and simply wonder what could have been. This may sound like torture, but it also works as good motivation for where I will be in one year from my current length (I have a slightly quicker growth rate). Does anybody else do this or have saved locks in their plastic bags?

This one kid at my school had a mullet and he got it cut off. He saved about 9 inches in a little plastic bag. Too bad because he had cool hair :(
no, saved the whole thing

the past 2 haircuts I had, each time I had at least a foot of hair, my aunt(the only person I trust with my hair) tied it off the first time and afterwards I gave the foot long pony tail to my mom, the second time it was a foot long braid, and that went to my mom too. once I picked up the ponytail that was when I realized how heavy hair actually is, at first I thought there mustve been a lead weight in there somewhere! lol. she showed it to me a while back, and yeah Id do the same thing, put it at the end of my current length to see how long itd be. but that was a while back, she claims to still have it. right now Im at about 15 inches, so its longer than ever, but still if I hadnt cut it those last 2 times, itd be down to almost my knees!
