Qustions for Nyghtfall

Nyghtfall,
I have two questions for you, but first I must praise your hair. We all envy you.
1) Years ago, when you were in the "awquard stage", how curly and unruly was your hair? Has it became more straight as you have grown older?
2) Not meaning this in a derogatory way, but have you maintained all of the hair on the top of your head over the years? I noticed in your pictures that you have a rather high forehead, as do i from birth, and was just curious.
Take care!

It was never very curly, but it did seem to have a mind of its own. Basically, my problem was that the sides and front had a natural tendency to curve inward, against my face. The result was that my hair was constantly getting into my eyes and tickling my face. The back, however, kept flipping up and away from my neck. With the front and sides growing one direction, and the back growing another, it felt as if my hair couldn't figure out what the hell it wanted to do.
One morning, I got so frustrated with trying to get my hair to behave that I took one look at it all in the bathroom mirror, yelled, "You wanna be that way? FINE! Let's see how you deal with THIS!" I got my brush as soaking wet as I could, furiously shoved the whole mess straight back, dowsed it with hair spray, and vuala - the "Data" look was born.
I didn't wear it down again after that morning, for about a year and a half. Then, one night, while preparing to leave my hotel room to meet John DeLance (I was attending a Star Trek convention), I decided to see how far past the awkward stage I had come. Much to my very pleasant surprise, the growth I had observed during that year and a half was finally enough to force the hair to lie down under its own weight (it had grown about an inch past my chin). That was the day the "Data" look finaly died.
I've worn it down - when it's not in a ponytail - ever since.
Here's a pic I had taken as part of a photographic poem I did back in.... hmmm... I wanna say... '92? 93?... early 90's anyway... I was married in 1994, and the photo session was done long before I was married. This was taken several months after the "Data" look died:

I'm not sure what you're asking, so I'll answer from two fronts:
* Do I have bangs? No. It's all long.
* Do I have a naturally high forehead? Hard to say. I've never paid that much attention to it. My hair line has appeared to have slightly receded since my youth. Thankfully, however, male pattern baldness doesn't run in either side of my family.
: Take care!
You, too!
:)
OK, that was weird...

Thanks, but the praise is unwarranted. My friend was just a really bad photographer.
