Difficult to manage, and to poofy
Posted by Matt on June 22, 2003 at 09:59:25: Previous Next
I've been growing my hair out for about 7 months now, but it seems like every day that goes by my hair gets poofier(dont know any other word to use) and curly. Does anyone have any tips on how manage such hair in this awkward phase?
Smack in the middle...

Smack in the middle of an awkward phase (yes, there are several and
you are probably in the worst one).
Shampoo: Aussie Moist or Jheri Redding Shine Shampoo
Conditioner: Aussie Moist or Jheri Redding Mega-Vitamin(a bit
lighter that the Aussie)I like both.
Gel: Yes, gel. With your kind of hair, there is no way to get around it (unless you wear some kind of hair restraint).
Try L'Oreal MELTing Gel (makes hair very slick with NO grease).
I also add some Jheri Redding FRIZZ OUT gel to the above,
since it has different ingredients and works well with the L'Oreal
Melting gel.
Again, experiment to see what's right for YOU and...
Good Luck!

I'm in the end of the 6th month of growing, my hair is really puffy and curly, but I just throw a cap on and don't worry with it... I use shampoo and a conditioner, which is all I plan to use. Just don't let it bother you at the point is what I say. I'll update you with some pics later mabey.
