Makeover story on TLC

Flipping channels I came across this program which today concerned a guy with mid-back length hair getting a "much needed (?)" makeover. Unlike the Maury show at least the guy still ended up with shoulder length hair with highlights, but IMHO he looked better with the longer hair and the facial hair he also shaved off.
Just wondering if anyone else caught this program and what they thought of the final results.

I didn't see it because I don't watch commercial TV anymore.
Please turn the damn thing off--the makeover only are to sale shaving geer, haircuts, clothes, etc.
