Howdy...
My name's Matt, I'm 16 and live in Manchester England. I started growing my hair in the August of 2001... and had several trims since. Ok erm, this will sound whiney I suppose. My hair is about, an inch past my chin at the fringe and about another 2 inches longer at the sides and back... but I have an undercut too, which is about 2-3 cm above my ears all the way around. So my hair at the back and sides is longer than the hair at the front yeah? What I really wanna know is, how do I get it straight straight? I sometimes use my sisters straightening iron, and it works pretty good, but I can't really get it to stay straight cause I like to have the first few cm's of my hair behind my ears, and the rest hanging straight, but then the lot tends to 'wing' out and looks silly. I sometimes like to wear a beanie hat, but my hair is constantly winging out when I put it behind my ears, so again it looks silly. I really wanna know how I can stop the winging... any ideas? Thanks for reading all of this, there are some recent[ish] pics at www.faceparty.com/beauty_fiend_36
Thanks you :o)

Put the hair behind your ears to begin with. Then put some coconut oil on the ends and use the iron whilst your hair is behind your ears, then add some hair spray so that it stays in place. Might end up looking like Marilyn Manson's new do though :-/. Worth a try.
