What should I use if I have wavy thin hair, and I want my hair to stay straight and in place ala Kurt Cobain or Bradd Pitt? My bangs come down to about the tip of my nose. Thanks in advance!

I've never seen a consumer product successdully straighten hair. You need to either flat iron or relax your hair if straight is what you want.

There's a leave-in conditioner by Rusk called Str8. You work just a little through your hair after washing and blow dry. It works fairly well, although don't expect perfectly straight hair. But at least it lessons the flips and curls.
