Maury up to no good again

Today on the Maury Povitch show the theme was makeovers. There was one man who went through a transformation. One of the changes was his hair. He appeared to have about 20 inches of thick, wavy hair. Although his wardrope and hygene appeared to be personally neglected, his hair, with a few good conditionings, could have been fabulous. However, his wife (who admitted to marrying him with long hair) insisted, along with his beard, that it be cut. The end result was horrible as he sported the crew cut.
It made me feel angry and upset..and it wasn't even my own hair!!
Oh well. I guess this is another win for anti-male-self-expression Maury and the makeover folks.

I did not see this particular makeover. However, I always find it interesting (maddening) that the "before" presentation always includes raggy clothes and an overall unkempt appearance. It's as if to say if you have long hair then all other aspects of your appearance are sub par - even horrible.....it's only when you shave your hair that you can don a jacket and tie and put a briefcase in your hand. The shows are only about ratings. Maury seems to do a lot of these shows. Do you think he's the secret founder of the buzz board? Eee gads.!.
