David Beckham hairstyle

Those of you familiar with European football know who this guy is. He's not only well known for his skills on the field but also for for being a trendsetter. Whenever he changes his hairstyle, which he does quite frequently, lots, and I do mean LOTS of teenagers (and also older guys) follow in his footsteps. This should be interesting. If he lets it grow longer, the percentage of longhairs in Europe will skyrocket.

Well, aproximately one fifth of the world's population has perfectly straight hair.

Straight hair?? Phhh.... I love my waves! My hair's not quite long enough to really be able to tell yet, but when it's completely dry and free of gels and mousses, etc. my hair is beautiful! Although not everyone appreciates looking like a 70's prog-rocker, I suppose!

I dont think so.
Of course some will fall in love with love, but since David Beckham is just a trend, and as we know very well, trends fade out, Beckham will fade out as well.
Look at David Seaman, the ex-goalkeeper of Arsenal, he`s got great hair, but how many football fans have teh same hairstyles.
Trends come and go, long hair stays.

Oh, he will fade out one day but not for the next couple of years. He's the most popular football player in the world and he's like a popstar. Even those who don't follow the game know who he is. I'm not making this up, it's a fact.

The guy does have great hair. But he's nowhere near as popular as Beckham is. Check out the polls. He's been on the cover of nearly every magazine in Europe. When he showed up sporting that mohawk hairstyle during the World Cup, suddenly it became the "in" thing to have.
: Trends come and go, long hair stays.
I have to agree with you.

Beckham might be a trendsetter, but in theis case he is following the existing trend for longer hair. But he's certainly making the awkward stage into the height of cool!
cheers, Barry
