can anyone tell me what happens to curly hair after tyhe akward stages and does it start to stay down and not an afron k thanx laters

That all depends on your own type of curly hair (many types). The best way to find out is to just try it and see how it acts. If nothing else you will gain more knowledge about your hair.

There's a user on here that goes by the name Dan, he has very curly hair(much like mine) and he posted a site with some pictures of him. His hair looks really good, the post is probably on the front page.

Gravity will work its magic once your hair starts getting longer. If you have genuinely curly hair (not waves), the curls will just be looser, but they'll never be stick-straight without a little help from hair products.
