Ahem.... Yikes!

Well, trims don't do anything to stimulate growth, but they sure do go a long way to make hairr look nicer.
The last time I had a trim was January, 1998. My hair wasn't quite to my waste, then. I just finished comparing pictures I took the day after the trim, and pictures I took two months ago. The difference in the appearance of nice, healthy hair is noticeably striking:
Suffice it to say, I'm scheduling a trim as soon as possible. Thankfully, there's a salon here in Kansas City that specializes in long hair. It's where I had my last trim done.

The lighting's very different in those two photos - make sure you're not panicking yourself! I think your hair looks fantastic in both, excellent growth.

Good point. I hadn't considered that. I'll hold off.

When I compared the pics I thought if it were just me who didn't really notice any difference. But thankfully I can still count on my eyesight. Your hair looks perfectly healthy in the recent pic. Maybe a closer instpection would reveal split ends but I think it looks better now than it did before.
Couldn't hurt...

I honestly wouldn't think that a nice tidy up trim would be devastating by any measure with hair that long. Would make it look less frizzy and fly-away. At my awkward stage length right now any loss at all to a trim would noticeably set me back and upset me. But if I had hair that long, I would maintain trims ever so often to keep it looking neat and unworn. The monthly growth rate would no longer be a concern for me at that length. A good 1/8 to a 1/4 inch trim wouldn't hurt at all, Nyghtfall. Just my opinion though. Peace!
Ahem.... Very Nice!

I ordered mine from an outfit in Hollywood, that specializes and costumes and stagewear. It cost $200 with shipping. They're available from Kristy Smart Designs. They'r a unisex design, wearable by both men and women. More info at the link below:
