Summer hair

Hi. My hair is very thick and wavy and is lip length and longer when streched. Whenever I go outside in the sun for more than 10 minutes it frizzes out and flips up uncontrollably. I try pushing it down, and do whatever I can but it looks horrible! It so embarrasing. When I go back inside after a while it goes back to normal. Is there any way to stop this?

theres still a month worth of summer left i'd say.. a month of bad hair days is like a life time if it bothers you..
id say wear a cap if you have the freedom to wear one.. aside from that id say gel or mousse

1. Tie it back
2. Bandanna
3. Hat
4. Product moisture barrier (gel/mousse/spray)
5. Ignore it

Several suggestions: 1.) Forget about it........it is most likely ONLY embarrasing to you. 2.) Wear a hat. 3.) Stay out of the Sun. 4.) If you have to go out, keep in the shade, or stay in the Sun for less than 10 minutes. 5.) Don't go out except at night. // Actually, it is very good that after being in the Sun that all returns to "normal" on its own. I really wouldn't fret about it all that much. Good Luck!

Bad, evil sun! LOL actually I think the humidity is a big player in screwing up your hair (I too suffer from horrible hair in the summer). Any product that says "anti-humecant" on it means it blocks moisture and is perfect for your needs. I've learn that gel/mousse/etc doesn't do much (but that's just me). Definitely protect your hair at all times though, because the sun has no mercy on hair. And don't worry, just about EVERYBODY has "bad hair" in summer, so they're probably more worried about their own hair than yours! Good luck.

I use the Frizz-Ease spray. The Matrix Biolage shampoo and conditioner are highly effective, albeit quite expensive.

What's the full name and company that made the "Frizz-Ease" spray? I've spent several hours today visiting hair saloons asking for spray especially to minimize frizzing... Only to hear them all say they don't think such a thing exist...
Also asked for conditioners for frizzy hair, no such thing eather, only different conditioners that "could" be good for frizzy hair...
Though bought the Matrix schampoo and conditioner you mentioned, as well as a conditioning spray and one other conditioning-thingie... $45, hope it's worth it...
