Queer Eye/Straight Guy

Noticed on a promo last night for "Queer Eye on the Straight Guy" that the "straight guy" in next Tuesday's show has long blond hair. The promo didn't show very much and I couldn't see his hair very well, but let's just hope that this isn't another one of those makeovers that involves taking it all off. One guy on a past show had longish hair and all they did was style it a little (although I think his hair looked a lot better before the "styling").

I am curious to see what they will do. It is refreshing that they are not using all long haired men and cutting it short every time. They have made over a couple of already bald guys, proving a make-over show doesn't have to be totally about haircuts. Some shorter haired guys get a trim and get advice about products and styling tips.
The first guy with the long blond hair.....well, his hair looked kinda sad long and I thought he looked better after getting it cut. He could probably regrow it some, take better care of it, and it would look great.
The guy with the long dark hair had GREAT hair, but again, it didn't look like he took care of it and he looked great with the longer styling. It suited his lifestyle, it was still long, and it was undoubtably a bit healthier after losing the inches. He and the girlfriend (who was a total weirdo) seemed to like it.
Next weeks long haired guy may or may not get a short haircut. I feel like the "fab five" are more objective than most in their cutting decisions.

i agree with dennis...the first guys hair just didn't look good at all...he looked better afterwards. he *could* regrow it some, and get a bit more length though.
the second guy (the one with the strange girlfriend) had great hair, and fortunatley kept it that way. his problem was that he used NO products in his hair to make it hang well. he needed some kind of product in it to make it shiny and have just a bit of a wet look to it.
i hope they don't cut this third guys hair...he DID have good hair from what i could tell, so next week will tell.

"The Fab Five attempt a Big Fat Greek Makeover as they help a 27 year-old kickboxer from Astoria lose the long hair and leap back into the social scene."
That was an except from their site.
That doesn't sound like a great outlook for the guy to keep his hair. I saw a pic of him on the site, and from what I saw, he has different color streaks all through it anyhow.
I guess we'll find out.
