Men in TV adverts

Some have said that:
"The media associates long hair with women, and reflects that association in its advertisements." Namely shampoo?
However in UK, the media doesn`t associate cleaning products with women. Aint it ironic ? Not that women are all born to clean, but women are mostly associated with the kitchen.
On British TV, almost all cleaning products ads have men featuring.
For Mr Muscle, you have a funny guy wearing big glasses
For washing up liquid, you have a famous chef Ainsley
For Bounty paper towels, you have men depicted in women`s clothes
etc....
what about bath soap?

Dunno about you, but I think female TV commercial producers are trying to tell us something...
