they traditionally grow at the same rate as your 'regular' hair. Half inch a month, give or take a few millimeters. Some people (including myself) feel that they tend to grow slower. I don't know why this is, i think some sort of neurotic disorder or something. Where do you want to grow your bangs too??? Chin? Nose? beyond!!!?? The general answer is "a year".

Well I would like by bangs to grow all the way to my eyes, My bangs are to my eyebrows now, but my side and back hair is in abbundance.
Im thinking of cutting all my hair off but leaving the bangs(short hair) so I can have my bangs, side hair and back to grow evenly.
If you grow the sides and back to big its gonna look "fat"

Too sodding long, I tell you! They're all that's keeping me from achieving a tie-back undercut. Everything else makes it in but my widow's peak irritates the hell out of me. My hair's been growing for a year and the bangs are 6.5 inches long BTW.
Good growth rate...

You must have started with a half inch in the bangs. Average growth is 6 inches a year. Unless you started shorter than that and are getting better than average growth.
I believe I am getting roughly 3/4 inch a month which computes to 9 inches a year. Hope my body keeps this up for at least the next three years. I'll keep taking my vitamins everyday and hope for the best, I reckon. Peace!

Yep, my hair was about .5 inch last year...I guess I'm just being bitter at not being able to get them into a tail quite yet. My hair's dead curly so I think it will look better when it's all pulled back. Just a couple more months and my dream becomes a reality. Then I can just let it grow and grow...

Well, hair grows (average) 1/2" per month and I don't know where you're starting from or how long you want them to go. But here is something to consider: Size of the person! A smaller person will notice "longer growth" much faster than a taller person because the hair will appear as if it is growing faster because so much progress has been made in a shorter time. So, sometimes it pays off nicely to be on the shorter side. Good luck!
