anyone tried Vive SERUM?
The small pump bottle said: "100% MORE Smoothness System"...I was very surprised
to actually hear a bottle talking...no...he..he...sorry...
Anyway, I bought a bottle. And at 3.4 ounces/100ml it is more expensive
than either the Vive Shampoo or the Conditioner,
but should last must longer.
What I found: This product is RXTREMELY slick and smoothing.
(You might have a bit of trouble picking up the bottle if this product gets on it!)
Contains camelina sativa seed oil (found in both the shampoo & conditioner)
It's not an overpowering oil like say, olive oil. In fact
it is a very fine, LIGHT substance that tends to SMOOTH my hair and it makes my hair FEEL very
healthy with lots of shine.
No greasy feeling for me. When my hair finally dried, there was a silky SHEEN.
These products are NOT difficult to find at all. They are sold everywhere...even at Wal-Mart!
And the shampoo and conditioner cost about the same as Aussie...
so maybe give it a try and let us know what it does for YOUR hair!
But let me just say one more thing: This Vive Smooth-Intense System
will not work for everyone!!! (Did you hear THAT???)
It works best with dry, thick hard-to-manage hair and may
be most helpful during the awkward phases and beyond...
Just thought I'd share this bit of info with you incase you
are looking for this kind of hair care help.
(PS: In the UK this line goes by the name of ELVive)
Good Luck!

Thats interesting. I was contemplating picking it up, but am kinda strapped for cash at the moment. :0 Trying to get money together for school. hehe. How much do you have to use to get the 'good effect?' How long is a bottle gonna last you, do you think?? Are you gonna buy it again? (if results remain consistant to what you mentioned) Alright, thats 3 questions. More then enough I think. :) Glad to hear it worked for you.

ANSWERS:
* It cost a bit over $5.00, BUT a little gors a LONG WAY!
and should probably last a VERY long time!
* If you think the MELTing Gel is slick, wait until you try this stuff!
*Contains camelina sativa seed oil. I want to look up that oil and
study it a bit more. Well, whatever it is...must be good stuff because it
is in all the ViVE products!
*Yes, I will buy it again. . .but this small bottle should last for ages!
* I have no idea HOW this ViVE system (shampoo..conditioner..serum) will
work on other people's hair, but I have seen dramatically GOOD results.
* EXPERIMENTATION is the key. Each individual must learn what is
appropriate for his/her hair.
Just not sure...

I am very anxious to try the smooth intense shampoo and conditioner.(I know youre all probably sick of hearing me talk about it.) But I was just watching a video from about a year ago of me with my first time having long hair and if it's gonna look like that again, I don't know what I'm gonna do. I really don't like the way it used to look, it looked like a thick black ball with no movement. That's why I'm hoping that this new smooth intense line will work for me!
I guess I should probably try the serum as well. The problem is is that I just hate having stuff in my hair, every hair product like that that I've used just makes me feel like theres crap in my hair. So I am unsure if this will be any different.

Dude, every longhair I know puts SOMETHING in his hair! I think the "feeling" you get is all mental.
I use several leave-in products. Without them, my hair is pretty darned wild. I get lots of compliments on my hair, and I wouldn't get them if I didn't use something to control it.

It could be mental then, I don't know. Or maybe I just use too much, or too little to make a difference.
By the way, I love the way my hair is while it's damp, is there anyting to put in it that will give it the damp feel and look all day? Like a serum or a leave in conditioner? Stories or advice are welcome!
don't worry...

Don't worry, the ViVE Serum is VERY LIGHT...
It is not used to 'control' your hair...just to make it SMOOTH & shiny.
Even the L'Oreal MELTing Gel cannot be 'felt' IF you don't use too much.
Also, your hair can feel softer and more 'damp' depending on the amounts used.
Good Luck!

If you'd let it grow longer it would've weighed itself down. With some good quality hairproducts it would've looked even better. The reason why it didn't look so good was simply because you were in the awkward phase. You'll have to endure that again. It's back from scratch.
