Working in Insurance agency

I posted about a month ago inquiring about a job at Geico. I am moving down South next year and I am curious about their dress code. I tried emailing them a few times but have not gotten a response. Does anyone have any information about Geico's policies concerning long hair. My hair is neat and shoulder length. I always have it in a ponytail. The job I am interested in is handling insurance claims over the phone. Their dress code on the website said "Business Casual" If anyone has information about Geico or any other similar business or agency, please post a message. Thanks

I cannot report any info on Geico. I can tell you that I live in the south, and that as a teacher, business casual for men means something like slacks and a golf shirt, sports shirt, no tie, obviously. Casual shoes, but likely not athletic shoes. A company whose attire is business casual strikes me as one who wouldn't get all bent out of shape over neatly kept hair of any length. But,I wouldn't go in the door making an issue out of my hair. I would go into an interview as if my hair were not an issue--dressed very neatly, and making sure that may hair was particularly neat.

Hi!
One has to imagine the situation of getting one's hair cut off for a job interview, only to see the job go to someone else - perhaps a guy with long hair! How would you feel then?
Cheers, Barry

Thanks for the responses. No, I was not considering cutting my hair. I was just wondering if they knew what their policy was. Also, the job is in Florida, I don't know how many of you live in florida but would love to hear from anyone's experiences of working in Florida or an insurance agency.
