I'm going tomention the unmetionable

Hi,
Well, i thought there would never come a day when I even considered cutting my hair. Anyway, right now I've got a ponytail about between my shoulder blades. I've had it this way for almost two years, just trimming it to clean it up.
I feel it may be time for a change. I'm not talking a full cut, but maybe something longer but not quite a ponytail. I like the way Dave Navarros hair look if any of you know him. I'm looking to circumvent the awkward stage if I grow out again.
Do you have any ideas/experiences
Thanks

From a girl's perspective:
DON'T DO IT!
All kidding aside, Dave Navarro's hair (if I remember correctly) is short enough so it's not 'tail length, but just long enough so that it will be annoying (think awkward stage). Give it at least two weeks of thought before you do anything. Remember, it takes years to grow long hair, but it takes minutes to lose it all.

I would be inclined to take the "Girls" perspective view and give it your utmost two weeks of thought. Sometimes a sudden "impulse" makes you think........"I GOT TO HAVE IT!" But that "impulse" fades in so many cases very very soon. Good Luck.

: : When i moved to florida I thought there is no way I can wear my hair this long and enjoy it from all the heat. My friends said just tait until you get used to the heat and dont do anything until at least two weeks. I told the girl that did my hair my thoughts so she suggested I wear it up for a time to see how it felt and looked. Another friend said get an inexpensive wig the length you think you want and try that weekends to see if I like the style, feeling and look. I did and am glad i did too because its been almost two years now and I did not cut it and am so glad I didn't.
